Ryan Elijah Arevalo Bates is an American actor, writer, and producer of British and Peruvian descent. Ryan’s part of the Bates family’s first generation born in the United States. Born and raised in Southern California, he began pursuing the theater at the age of eight. By twelve, he landed a commercial, taking his first professional step into the industry. Through the years Ryan stayed in school, playing multiple sports (baseball, football, boxing, soccer, and more) while building his experiences and credits in the industry. “I’m really glad I had a normal upbringing. I went to public school in a small middle-class town, worked a lot of blue collar jobs. I’m proud that’s where I came from.” He studied at some of the best acting schools in Los Angeles and London, including Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts where actors Kenneth Branagh, Anthony Hopkins, and Tom Hiddleston to name a few have graduated.
